Cala Sinzias beach (Spiaggia di Cala Sinzias) lies just north of Cala Pira beach, on the coastal line of Costa Rei, Cagliari. Located in front of a grove of eucalyptus trees, the beach has white sands with stray rocks, and waters clear like crystal. This is arguably one of the best beaches of Costa Rei. The beach is well equipped, and suitable for families, although the irregular surface beneath the water might make it unsuitable for small children. Cala Sinzias can be quite windy, making this spot popular amongst surfers, on quieter days it’s a good snorkelling location. If lounging in the sun gets tiring, boats can be rented for a refreshing trip on the sea. Part of this beach is privately operated by Hotel Garden Beach. The wooden walkways make this beach accessible for the disabled.

Beach Club Is Fradis

At the entrance to the beach, you’ll find Beach Club Is Fradis, a mix of a restaurant and lounge bar. It is a great location to spend your day and evening in a relaxed atmosphere. At the beach club, yoga can be practiced in the morning, and various beach activities are organized throughout the day. Luxury sunbeds are available right on the beach. The restaurant’s menu focuses on local Meditteranean cuisine, based exclusively on local catch and seasonal products. As the sun sets, the Is Fradis bar serves a series of delicious classic Italian aperitivos and cocktails, served with fresh herbs and fruit. Summer season usually starts in the beginning of May.

How To Get To Cala Sinzias

To reach Cala Sinzias from Villasimius, head south-west on Via Umbero. At the roundabout, take the second exit to Via Logudoro. Turn right after 6 kilometers. After 1.5 kilometers, turn right again, following the sign for Camping Limone Beach.
