Cala Balcaccia beach (Spiaggia di Cala Balcaccia), is located 1.6 kilometers east of Cala Sambuco, and 7 kilometers east of Santa Teresa Gallura, in north Sardinia. The beach spans nearly 200 meters, and faces north, with views of Corsica in the distance on clear days. Cala Balcaccia can be reached by car – though you’ll need permission to access the private road that leads to the beach. The beach offers a small car parking area, but reaching Cala Balcaccia by foot or by boat would be the wiser choice of transportation, especially on busy days. Cala Balcaccia is a good snorkelling and scuba diving spot, and is suitable for children.

How To Get To Cala Balcaccia

From Santa Teresa Gallura, take the SS133bis to Porto Pozzo. After 4 kilometers, you will pass the village of Ruoni. Continue for 1.6 kilometers, then turn left onto the Strada Lu Rotu Ecchju. This road will turn into the Strada La Balcaccia, and heads straight to the beach.
