About Spiaggia di Su Portu de su Trigu
Su Portu de su Trigu beach (la Spiaggia di Su Portu de su Trigu, also known as Cala Sa Barracca) is one of the smallest beaches of south Sardinia. This fine little beach is located just a few kilometers south-west of Porto Pino beach, and 6 kilometers west of the community of Sant’Anna Arresi. The beautiful sandy beach has very thin and white sands. You’ll find some scattered rocks along the beach, making it an even more beautiful and charming environment. This beach has a length of just 30 meters, and faces due west overlooking the azure waters of Golfi di Palma. Su Portu de su Trigu beach has no facilities except for a car parking area, but this private and secluded gem should definitely be on your list of beaches to visit in South Sardinia. It is the perfect place for some relaxation and snorkeling. Highly recommended!
How To Get To Su Portu de su Trigu
To reach Su Portu de su Trigu beach, coming from Cagliari, take the SS 130 towards Iglesias and just before arriving in Assemini turn right in the direction of the industrial zone of Macchiareddu. Follow this road until you reach a roundabout, then turn left in the direction of Giba. Then continue to Sant'Anna Arresi. From Sant'Anna Arresi, proceed straight towards the beach of Porto Pino. Turn right towards Masainas / Carbonia, and go straight once you see a mini market on your left side. Then turn to the second street on the left, and continue straight until you get to the parking of Su Portu de su Trigu beach.
