Also known as Punta Capo Coda Cavallo, Capo Coda Cavallo beach (Spiaggia di Capo Coda Cavallo) is located 500 meters east of the small village of Capo Coda Cavallo, at the eastermost tip of the peninsula. It is a very nice beach situated between the mountains. The beach is 500 meters long and faces north-west, featuring beautiful views of Isola Molara and Isola Tavolara behind it. Also the views from the headland overlooking the bays in this area are quite sensational. The sea here is clear, warm and calm, you’ll enjoy swimming at this beach. The water at Capo Coda Cavallo beach is shallow, making it suitable for families with small children. There is a parking lot at the beach but it is recommended you arrive early in August to find a spot. Parking costs 1.5 euros. Capo Coda Cavallo beach is equipped with a bar and there’s the possibility to rent sunbeds and umbrellas. You may want to bring some slippers, as some parts of the beach consist of small pebbles.
How To Get To Capo Coda Cavallo Beach
From Olbia, Capo Coda Cavallo beach can be reached by taking the SS 125 in the direction of Siniscola. Once you’ve passed the village of Monte Petrosu after about 17 kilometers, exit the SS 125 at the village of Lutturai and head in the direction of Capo Coda Cavallo.
