Prima Spiaggia is the first beach of Golf Aranci. It is located in front of Via Cristoforo Colombo, just north-east of the village’s port. This family-friendly beach is over 400 meters long, and faces south-west. The beach is frequently visited by tourists staying at the hotels in the vicinity. Prima Spiaggia can easily be reached by car, there is a parking space nearby. In this part of Golfo Aranci you’ll also find several bars, restaurants and pizzerias. A beachfront restaurant offers a variety of seafood dishes, fish is purchased every day from trusted local fishermen.
Accommodations Near Prima Spiaggia
Hotel Tabby
Near the middle section of Prima Spiaggia, on Via Vasco De Gama, you’ll find Hotel Tabby. This small three-star hotel is open all year, and was recently renovated. Its 14 rooms are air-conditioned, and several rooms feature a terrace with views of the sea. The hotel’s English speaking staff can organise excursions and boat trips to see the dolphins.
Hotel La Lampara
Close behind Hotel Tabby, on Via Magellano, you’ll find Hotel La Lampara (The Lamp), another small three-star hotel featuring 10 comfortably furnished rooms with air-conditioning. The nearby restaurant serves simple and traditional Sardinian cuisine.
Hotel Villa Margherita
A little further south of Prima Spiaggia, near the port, you’ll find Hotel Villa Margherita, one of the nicest four-star Golfo Aranci hotels. It offers 44 well-decorated rooms, all with air conditioning, and remodelled in a typical Sardinian style. Most rooms look out across the bay, with wonderful views of the topaz blue waters of Golfo Aranci and distant mountains. There is a beautiful well-kept garden and a large outdoor swimming pool. Situated near the waterfront, Villa Margherita is a family-run hotel in a boutique style, where guests can enjoy fresh seafood and regional Sardinian specialties at the hotel’s excellent restaurant. Just beside the hotel you’ll find Prima Spiaggia, with its thin white sand and all kinds of water sports. Other beaches such as Terza Spiaggia and Quarta Spiaggia are just a few minutes away. Several restaurants, shops, bars and a market are nearby as well.
How To Get To Prima Spiaggia
Prima Spiaggia can be reached by car from Olbia by driving from Strada Provinciale 82/SP82 and Via Guglielmo Marconi in the direction of Golfo Aranci. Once you've reached Golfo Aranci, turn right onto Via Vasco de Gama. The scenic drive shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes.
