Frequently visited by locals from Olbia, Spiaggia Mare e Rocce is a secluded, picturesque beach in Pittulongu with beautiful white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters.
The small pebbly cove is located only a 15-minute drive from Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport, and it is easy to reach once you’ve arrived at Pittulongu village.
It has a length of 180 meters and faces south-east so you can marvel at splendid views of the iconic Isola Tavolara 11 kilometers off the coast.
During shoulder season, you won’t have to worry about parking, as there is plenty of space available in the residential area behind the beach. Spiaggia Mare e Rocce is accessible on foot from both the north and south side. If the beach gets too crowded in high season, you can easily walk to Spiaggia del Pellicano, which is located right next to Mare e Rocce.
Spiaggia Mare e Rocce is spotless and, unlike many other secluded beaches in Sardinia, offers restaurants, hotels and B&B’s close by.
It’s an excellent spot for spending some time in the sun, reading a good book, snorkeling, and swimming.
