The beach of Cala Canneddi (Spiaggia di Cala Canneddi) is located 500 meters north-west of the village of Canneddi, in the municipality of TrinitĂ  D’Agultu e Vignola, Olbia-Tempio. Cala Canneddi is situated in a wonderful natural environment with bright sand and pink rocks that are characterised by the presence of quartz crystals. The beach faces north-west and has a total length of 280 meters.

Often in summer, wonderful scents of pine fill the air that are coming from Pineta di Calarossa, a pine forest nearby. The forest offers good spots to find some shade during the hot hours of the day.

The beach features somewhat rough sand, making it advisable to wear shoes for comfortable walking along the shore. Accessing the beach is relatively easy, with a small car parking area available nearby. From there, a sandy path leads to the beach itself, taking approximately 5 minutes to walk.

Take caution when swimming here as there are rocks and a few sea urchins in the water. However, for snorkeling enthusiasts, Spiaggia di Cala Canneddi offers an excellent spot with deeper waters showcasing vibrant marine life, including small hermit crabs in the shallow areas.

One of the highlights of this cove is the impressive natural pool nestled within a rock formation. You’ll find it to the north, about 200 meters away from Spiaggia di Cala Canneddi. The natural pool is known as Piscina naturale di Calarossa, it provides a unique opportunity for diving and jumping into the clear waters. Note that the pool can become hazardous during high tide, so be careful. Check the weather and wind conditions before you go!

For adventurers seeking an extra thrill at Spiaggia di Cala Canneddi, a hike to Punta Canneddi offers a memorable experience. The short trail, approximately 500 meters long, winds along the scenic Pineta di Calarossa pine forest. Proper shoes are advised for navigating the uneven terrain.

Upon reaching Punta Canneddi, breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline await, providing a perfect backdrop for a few memorable holiday pictures.
