About Spiaggia Compoltitu
Drive north-west towards Alghero for approximately 7 kilometers from the center of Bosa, and you’ll discover a pretty and tiny cove named Cumpoltittu (La Spiaggia di Cumpoltittu). Perfectly sheltered from the Mistral winds, this secluded cove is just 60 meters long, and faces south, offering beautiful views of the Bosa coast. Here you will enjoy amazingly clear water and soft sands.
Cumpoltittu is surrounded by cliffs that you can dive from. If you go for a short hike around the cliffs, you will discover some spectacular rock formations, shaped by the patiently brute forces of nature and time. As this cove has no facilties other than a small parking area near the road, you will need to bring some lunch and plenty of water to get you through the day. It’s best to visit this beach in the early hours of the day during high season.
How To Get To Spiaggia Compoltitu
To reach La Spiaggia di Cumpoltittu from Bosa, take the Strada Provinciale 49 in the direction of Alghero. You will pass the signs for S'Abba beach, and after about 1 kilometer you will find the car parking for it on your left hand side. Look for a sign at the end of the car parking. The footpath to the beach begins behind the sign, it will be about a 5 to 10 minutes walk to get to Cumpoltittu. You'll be rewarded with beautiful vistas of the bay along the way!
